Stand in the Gap: Solidarity Sunday

Published on March 12, 2025

Baptist World Alliance is calling God’s people to Stand in the Gap this Solidarity Sunday, March 30.

Over the last 100 days, there has been a rapid deceleration of humanitarian aid around the world. We may not be able to replace the millions that have been lost, but the church cannot sit on the sidelines. We need to stand in the gap.

We are all invited to join with Baptists worldwide on the fifth Sunday of this month for a special time of unified giving and prayer throughout our global family.

There are three ways to get involved:

(1) GIVE: BWA’s capacity to respond depends on you and your generosity. Your donation will be deployed quickly to provide food, water, healthcare, shelter, and other basic needs around the world. Click here to give now.

(2) PRAY: Join us in interceding for all of those affected by the current crisis. Download our prayer guide to unite with Baptists worldwide in strategic prayer.

(3) SHARE: A global crisis requires a global response. Would you share this urgent appeal with your friends, congregations, and social media networks? Click here for resources to help you spread the word within your social networks.
