What age should I start my child at mainly music?

mainly music is for young children under five years old. The music sessions are fun and engaging for toddlers, preschoolers and even babies. Those too young to follow along with actions or dances can still engage with the sounds and movements around them. They will learn as they watch and interact with you, and as babies become toddlers, they’ll be keen to participate.

What food is provided for morning tea and can I bring my own?

We provide a variety of fruit and biscuits for the children, and coffee and tea for the adults. Please ensure you let us know of any allergies when you enrol.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink into mainly music. However, we ask that you not bring any nuts or nuts products as many young children have allergies.

Middle Ground Café is also located right downstairs and is a great place to meet up with others before or after mainly music.

What equipment do you have at mainly music?

During our music sessions we engage with a range of fun and interactive props, such as bean bags, scarves, claves and musical instruments. We also have a range of toys which come out during playtime. We encourage an environment of creativity, imagination and exploration.
