R U OK? Day

Published on September 9, 2025

This Thursday the 11th of Sept is R U OK? Day across Australia—a reminder that any day is a day to check in with someone who might be struggling.

Regular, meaningful conversations with the people close to you can help prevent small things from becoming big things. By checking in regularly, you build trust and normalise talking about what’s really going on, so when the people in your world find themselves struggling, they know you’re someone they can talk to.

As God’s people at NewHope, we have the amazing privilege of following Jesus in community with one another. May we cultivate a culture of honest conversations and prayer; standing together with God at our centre.
