Introducing New Global Partner: Jason McEwen

Published on April 17, 2025

Jason, Sharini, and their boys Jarlath and Jehan, have been a part of the NewHope family for many years. Now based overseas and serving with TeenStreet International, we are excited to welcome Jason as our newest Global Partner.

A word from Jason:

“TeenStreet is a global movement that exists to help teenagers grow in their faith and live it out with boldness. All around the world, so many young people are ready to follow Jesus—but often they’re told to wait. At TeenStreet, we believe they are the church of today, and that God wants to work through them now to bring His love to the world.

For over 25 years, TeenStreet has been walking alongside teens—helping them go deeper in their relationship with Jesus, discover their purpose, and take real steps to share their faith. Whether it’s through events, small groups, mentoring, or our discipleship tool Firestarter, TeenStreet is all about equipping teens to live for Jesus with courage and joy. Our culture is simple: Be Bold, Go Deep, Have Fun, and Pray.

Personally, I have the privilege of serving as the Marketing Director for TeenStreet International. That means I get to help tell the story of what God is doing through teens around the world and help make sure the tools and resources we create reach the people who need them. I support leaders in different countries, develop communication strategies, and help guide the growth of Firestarter so more teens can disciple others.

Our vision is big—we’re trusting God to see TeenStreet in every OM field by 2028. But I know I’m not doing this alone. I’m deeply grateful for your ongoing support and prayers. Being sent out by our church means everything to me, and I see this ministry as something we’re doing together. Thank you for being part of it.”
