Exhibitions and Sponsorships

An important part of Congress is the exhibition area where attendees can learn more about Christian ministries, organisations, and resources. Sponsors and advertisers are able to connect with Baptist leaders from more than 100 countries and maximise the opportunity to share their ministry or business with the global Baptist family. If you would like to find out more about how to exhibit, sponsor, and/or advertise at the Congress, please click here.

Programs for Children and Teens

We are excited that Congress is an experience for the whole family. Each day from 9:00 am–12:00 pm and again from 2:00–3:30 pm, special programs will be offered for those aged 4 to 17 years. A special activities book will also be provided to give families a wealth of ideas of activities to do together in the area around the Convention Centre outside these program times, many of which are free. In addition, rooms will be set aside and equipped for parents with toddlers and babies. Those using these spaces will be able to participate in the plenary sessions via a livestream feed within the room.

Creative Arts

One of the most meaningful aspects of a Congress is the breadth of music and other creative arts offered from around the world. Each contribution is unique but connected as it contributes to our worship of the Living God and provides a powerful expression of our global diversity. To that end, we are seeking expressions of interest from artists to serve at the Congress. We are looking for groups and individuals who can help lead us in worship in music, drama, painting, dance, spoken word, and other mediums. There will be some opportunities to serve during the plenary sessions and many more on the Global Stage that will operate each afternoon. The application process is now open, and we encourage you to apply by December 31, 2024. Click here for more information.

Speakers

Please meet some of our Congress speakers:

Tamiko Jones is the Executive Director-Treasurer of Woman’s Missionary Union of Texas and an Associate Minister of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas. She appreciates all opportunities to minister to God’s people and has participated in missions to many countries and facilitated workshops for numerous Baptist groups.

In addition, she served as consulting Minister of Education with the Riverwest Community Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tamiko finds her greatest joy in moments of mentoring and coaching those seeking to understand the calling on their lives.

Dale Stephenson is the Senior Pastor at Crossway Baptist Church in Melbourne, Australia, the largest Baptist church in the country. Dale is committed to seeing Australian Christians empowered with simple and replicable means of empowering “Disciples that Multiply.” A gifted preacher and teacher of God’s Word, he has an enthusiastic approach to making disciples with a contagious delight in Jesus.

Ralph West is the Pastor and Founder of The Church Without Walls (Brookhollow Baptist Church, Houston, Texas). The Church Without Walls began with 32 members and now embraces thousands of families meeting each Sunday, meeting in three locations and conducting five services each Sunday. He first preached as a sixteen-year-old in his native Houston and now also teaches others as an Adjunct Professor of Preaching at Truett Seminary.

Pastor West is affectionately known as Pas. Although Pas can boast of a number of degrees, honors and associations, those who sit under his preaching would most aptly describe his attitude using Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 2:1.

Valérie Duval-Poujol is a French Baptist theologian. Passionate about the Bible and the author of several books, she holds doctorates in History of Religions and Theology and serves on various theological faculties. A Bible translator, she was also the chief editor for the revision of the French Bible Nouvelle Français courant

Active in the fight against domestic violence and sexual abuse, she created an initiative raising awareness on that topic called the “Red Chair Project” and is a member of the steering committee for the BWA Women Stand Against Domestic Violence initiative and website.

Our time together in Brisbane will be a life-changing week as the Baptist family gathers from around the world. Sign up today to be part of this incredible experience!
