2025 AGM: Church Council Nominees

Published on May 20, 2025

Join us this Monday 26 May at 7:30pm for our NewHope Annual General Meeting.

You can view the meeting agenda HERE and the minutes from our previous AGM (27 May ’24) HERE.

At Members Meetings we come together to discern God’s direction and take responsibility for the present health, future capacity and missional effectiveness of NewHope. We really hope you can be there, because as the Body of Christ, we are much stronger together!

Please register to attend either in-person or online. We also encourage you to download the Church Center App prior to assist with the voting process.

There are seven elected Church Council members with two year terms and two ex-officio members, Allan and Surette.

The Church Council members reaching the end of their two year term and available for re-election and fully endorsed by Church Council are:

  • Tristan Ellett – Church Council Chair
  • Monique Jaksic – Ordinary Member
  • Steve Stavridis – Ordinary Member
  • Brett Rice – Ordinary Member

You can read full bios by visiting the ‘Member’s Area’ of the Church Centre app.

We look forward to seeing you at the AGM.
