Sally joined the NewHope team in 2024 as Associate Pastor, bringing with her a diverse background in ministry. With theological training from MST, Morling, and Whitley, and having completed ordination and Professional Supervision training, she is passionate about helping people encounter God’s love within a healthy, multi-generational community. Her role is delightfully varied—shaped by pastoral conversations, sermon preparation, strategic planning, and the unexpected moments that keep her leaning on Jesus’ provision.
Sally and her husband Raff began their ministry journey in the mid-1990s through an internship at Youth Dimension, and since then have served in a wide range of ministry contexts. Away from church life, they are currently renovating their 1980s home—a project that’s rewarding, frustrating, and definitely expensive! Sally loves oat lattes, adores bees, and enjoys walking her dog Harvey every day. An avid learner and reader, she usually has a novel and a theology book on the go.
What she loves most about her role at NewHope is the chance to collaborate with her gifted colleagues after years of working predominantly solo.
