Volunteer Opportunity
School Excursion Volunteering Opportunity. As part of the Kids Hope program at Kerrimuir Primary School, we are offered the opportunity to volunteer for various school excursions throughout the year. The May and June excursions are on a Tuesday morning 10.00-12.00, accompanying teachers and students as they visit a local Aged Care facility. This is a wonderful way to support the school and grow this relationship between NewHope and Kerrimuir. ‘Working with Children Checks’ are required and can be generated on-line at no cost (takes approx 30 days). Needs

One of our NHCC Relief Centre clients is in need of accomodation, work and a phone. Home: 2-3 bedroom around Box Hill/ Mont Albert North up to $400 per week. This is a desperate need. Job: She was an accountant in China but will do anything. She is a single Mum so cannot work school holidays and ideally between 10- 2pm. English is fair but she is a gorgeous lady and is prepared to do whatever she needs to support her children. Phone: Her old 3G iPhone is about to stop working. She needs 4G.
