When Jesus walked the earth, he spent time with people from all walks of life. Different ages, cultural backgrounds, vocations, interests, and social standings. No matter who he encountered, he left them transformed.

Jesus changes lives. He did then and still does today. While the realities of first-century Judea differ from ours, the human experiences and challenges — fear, anxiety, sickness, busyness, and financial pressures — are timeless and relatable. The wonderful news is that Jesus meets each of us right where we are today. He offers hope and power to live with freedom and purpose.

Through this series, we pray people will encounter Jesus personally and find hope and healing.

Sermon Study Guides

We have developed a study series to support our Sunday sermons. Visit each week to find reflection questions and devotions. These resources are developed with groups in mind and we invite you to join with others for discussion and encouragement. Find out more about NewHope Groups.

All-In Prayer & Worship Night

We’d love to see you at our next ‘All-in’ Prayer and Worship Night on Wednesday 29 April at 7pm.

As we journey through our Encounters with Jesus series, we’re reminded that real transformation happens when people meet Jesus personally and powerfully. Come join with the whole church as we worship, pray, and cry out to God with expectation for a fresh encounter that bring renewal in our lives and revival in our city.
