2020 AGM – Update on What Happened

The Annual General Meeting combined with the Budget Meeting was held on Monday 30 November online via Zoom Webinar.

A big shout out to the presenters and technical team and especially Tristan Ellett for facilitating a very successful online engagement.

We had 122 attendees and all members were able to participate in the endorsement and voting process  and the following motions were passed:

  • The appointment of Chris Meyers as the Chair of Church Council
  • The appointment of Amanda Carruthers as the Secretary of Church Council
  • The appointment of Murray Baird as an Ordinary Member of Church Council
  • The appointment of Darryn Hockley as an Ordinary Member of Church Council
  • The appointment of RDL ACCOUNTANTS as the auditors of the 2020 financial year
  • The approval of the 2021 Budget

We also attended to the following:

  • The approval of the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held in March 2019
  • Presentation of the Annual Report of 2019
  • Minutes of appreciation for Fiona Haymes and Darren Dang who concluded on Church Council
  • Audited Finance Report 2019
  • Campuses update
  • NewHope Medical Ltd. update
  • Challenges and opportunities in 2020
  • Vision 2021
  • Welcome to new members 2020
  • Year-to-date 2020 financial report
  • Presentation of the Budget 2021 for all NewHope Entities
  • Opportunity for Ministry Input
  • All questions by members were addressed
