Lance has been part of the NewHope community for 24 years, serving on staff for the past 15. Before stepping into full-time ministry, he worked as a podiatrist, a background that has shaped his compassionate and people-focused approach to pastoral care. In his role as Associate Pastor and Operations Manager at NewHope Community Care, Lance values the diversity of each day—whether leading staff teams, engaging in pastoral conversations, preparing teaching content, or fostering a healthy and vibrant ministry culture.

Lance is deeply motivated by helping others discover and develop their God-given gifts, and by creating opportunities for people to encounter Jesus in transformative ways. At home, he and his wife Laura enjoy life with their children Eden, Levi, James, and a new baby on the way! Outside of ministry, Lance enjoys running, swimming, cycling, and following AFL, Formula 1, and cricket. He also enjoys having a crack at keeping his lawn lush and green.
