Andrew Sercombe joined NewHope as our Senior Pastor in 2026. Andrew is a passionate follower of Jesus with a deep love for the local church and a heart to see people formed into mature, resilient disciples. He brings significant pastoral and leadership experience, having most recently served at Gateway Baptist Church in Brisbane.

Andrew is known for his thoughtful, Spirit-led leadership, his commitment to prayer and Scripture, and his desire to see the Church faithfully engage its community with the hope of the gospel. He and his wife Megan are the proud parents of four children, Olivia, Eva, Maddie, and Jacob, and as a family they are excited to be following God’s call to NewHope.
