The churches of Whitehorse are working towards a Winter Shelter, operating for 13 weeks between June and August (Covid-19 and appropriate building approvals permitting). They are looking to appoint a (paid) Deputy Project Coordinator – approx 10-14 hrs over 2 consecutive days (including at least one weekend day and the requirement to be on-call during this 48 hr period). Role will include oversight of the shelter, assessing guests for suitability, responding to any guest/volunteer related concerns etc.
