In response to the changing rules and requirements from the Victorian Government we have had to adjust our plans for in-person gatherings at NewHope once again. Below you will find the updated plans, current as of this moment.
Our desire is still to care, support and remain committed to our values as we seek to provide multiple opportunities for people to gather as the body of Christ. Here are some opportunities to engage through the month of November and beyond.
Online Worship Continues for Everyone.
At the moment Online Worship is the way the vast majority of people will continue to engage. We will continue to have Online Worship live-streamed at 10am and on-demand through the week. We are working hard to build capacity and deliver this ministry with continuing excellence.
In-Person Gatherings at 3 Springfield Road (Fully Vaccinated).
- Sunday, November 7th at 10am: Join a hosted Watch Party onsite at NewHope to view the live-stream service together.
- Sunday, November 14th onwards: Morning Gatherings return at 10am with live worship and COVIDSafe measures in place.
- Sunday, November 21st onwards: Evening Gatherings return at 5pm with live worship and COVIDSafe measures in place.
In line with Government directives, all gatherings at 3 Springfield Road will be fully vaccinated events with capacity limits in place. We ask you to please register to attend and be ready to provide your Vaccination Certificate (for those over 16 years) when checking-in on the day. Also, a reminder that we are unable to host walk-ins at this time.
If you require assistance in accessing your Vaccination Certificate, you can find helpful instructions on the Victorian Government website. You can also call Services Australia on 1800 653 809 and ask them to send your Immunisation History Statement to you if you do not have access to a smartphone. The NewHope Connect Team will also be ready to help you on the day.
Sunday Picnics in the Park.
Through the month of November you are invited to join with other NewHopers for hosted picnics in the park. Each Sunday at 12pm, following the online service, there will be opportunities to gather at two different parks. These picnics are open to all and everyone is invited. Capacity limits of 30 people, including dependants, do apply so we ask you to register to attend. BYO picnic lunches, chairs and rugs, and enjoy some fellowship with others. We’ve even organised a little treat from Middle Ground Café to share together on the day.
We are looking forward to connecting together soon. If you would like to talk further or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 9890 7999 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We desire to talk through any person’s unique situation with compassion and a desire to support and care as we navigate this season of transition together.
