It has now been over 30 days since we all committed to praying and fasting to discern God’s will and way forward for NewHope Medical; indeed for a miracle! Since that time we have seen God moving in some amazing ways, and while we don’t yet have a clear way ahead, we have seen some very positive steps and possible doors opening:

• A new nurse is joining NewHope Medical for one day a week at this stage, but she will fill a major gap after both our nurses had left.
• We recently had someone interested in the Practice Manager role, a role that Heather Coleman so wonderfully stepped into as an interim for a period at our time of desperate need. Many thanks Heather!
• Miraculously, this month Dr Jo has had conversations with three Christian GPs, two of whom have shown interest in joining NewHope Medical in February 2023. Praise God! We are praying that these leads will be fruitful.
• A conversation has started with another Christian practice to explore whether there could be a mutually beneficial relationship between the two practices. A working group representing the practice, the Board and NewHope Services is currently progressing this conversation. Please be praying for wisdom and clarity for this working group.

Thank you NewHope for your faithfulness in fasting and praying! We are greatly encouraged that yours and our prayers have been heard, that God has been listening and He is now moving to answer them. We continue to pray for His leading. There will be further news at the December 14 Members Meeting.
