The NewHope Food Swap will run on the 4th Saturday of every month.

FOOD SWAP
NewHope Community Kitchen, Enter via Dale Crt
10am – 11 am
Tea and coffee will be served

WHAT IS A FOOD SWAP?
A food swap encourages a community of like minded food gardeners to come together and share their excess homegrown produce. No money is exchanged, only home grown organic food surplus, gardening knowledge, and good company!
Have a look at this short video to see how a food swap works: https://localfoodconnect.org.au/food-swaps/

WHO’S IT FOR?
All welcome!
If you are a home gardener, come along and meet new friends, and discover new plants from others in our multicultural community. If you are hoping to begin growing organic produce in your own home garden, but don’t know where to start, come along and gain some knowledge from others in our community.

BE PART OF THE FOOD SWAP TEAM
We are looking for a team of people willing to help with:

  • Set up/pack up
  • Welcoming
  • Tea and coffee service

If you’re interested, please email hannah.freeman@newhope.net.au
