Please join us in welcoming Dr Jae Mie Teh to NewHope Medical. From February Jae Mie will be working four days a week, which means that we will now have up to four GPs available each weekday. How far we have come in just under three years!
Originally from Malaysia, Jae Mie completed her medical training in Australia and her fellowship training in rural NSW. She has worked in general practice for the past 8 years, most recently in the Western suburbs. She believes in building long term relationships with patients to provide comprehensive care in line with the vision of NewHope Medical.
Jae Mie’s special interests are paediatrics, women’s health, skin cancer medicine and minor skin excisions, plus she also provides antenatal shared care in partnership with various hospitals.
In her free time Jae Mie enjoys painting, hiking and swimming.
Both the medical and mental health teams have male and female practitioners, and include a wide range of cultural and language backgrounds.
Word of mouth is a very important avenue for new patients to come to us, not just from friends and neighbours, but also referrals from the Middleground Cafe, PlaySpace and the different ministries. Please continue to remind your friends and family that we are here and ready to assist. We are still searching for additional part time or one full time GP to join us, so that we can fulfil the vision of the medical centre as well as creating a sustainable entity.
For all counselling or psychology appointments, please call us directly on 9066 1145.
For medical appointments call us or book online at newhopemedical.com.au or our Facebook page. We look forward to welcoming you.
