Food Relief Update

Published on October 28, 2020

At the end of September, NewHope Community Care posted a food relief update requesting some specific food donations. We were blown away as we received countless valuable donations in response to our request. Your donations made it possible to continue to give generously and meet food relief needs. It has been so encouraging to feel the support of the entire NewHope community. Thank you NewHope!

A special thank you goes to Darren Haymes, who went above and beyond what we asked and even procured an additional food donation from the local IGA.

The current shortage we are facing is for toilet paper and canned vegetables (peas, corn etc…). Any donations of these items in the next couple of weeks would be highly appreciated! Donations can be left in the blue bins at NewHope’s Springfield Rd entrance.
