GLS is done for another year. We came away inspired and challenged.

Published on November 22, 2022

The Global Leadership Summit impacts over 400,000 participants in 135 countries each year with a mission to inspire and equip world-class leadership that ignites transformation.

This year’s GLS was hosted by Full Gospel Assembly, one the churches NewHope is privileged to partner with as part of Whitehorse Churches Care.

A group of NewHopers went along to this local event. It was a day full of engaging speakers, timely content, and great discussions. We came away inspired and challenged about how churches full of people developing their leadership skills could impact the world.

“It has been some time since I last attended GLS and I found it a valuable experience to firstly to be reminded what a powerful movement it is for growing and developing leaders, and secondly, to learn how much leadership has needed to change in the new environment in which we find ourselves. To quote one speaker, we must “remain focused on the mission but rethink the method” while maintaining interpersonal relationships and trust at all levels.”- Tony Stokes

“I found Vanessa Van Edwards’s talk so valuable. She discussed how good leaders focus on logistics and finance. Great leaders think about these things but also on connecting and rapport. Vanessa has given us a connection blueprint on how to connect with others on a much deeper and more meaningful level. I have been practising this all weekend!”
