Support a PERSON: Maria

On 24th July 2020, Maria’s world was turned upside down. As if 2020 hasn’t been bad enough, Maria was diagnosed with breast cancer. Maria is a friend of Arthur and Queila who are in charge of NewHope’s Brazilian Ministry.
Maria came to Australia in 2013 from her home country of Colombia. She is now on a student visa, and was about to move to a rural town in South Australia in her last bid for permanent residency just prior to COVID-19. Due to the pandemic, Maria has not had an income for the last few months and is not eligible for any type of government support.

Support a LOCAL BUSINESS: Cafe Rubix

Last week a car ran through the front of Café Rubix, one of the cafés in the Kerrimuir shopping center across the road from NewHope. What a lot of for this local family business to deal with on top of everything else. Rubix is frequented by NewHopers after our (pre-COVID) morning worship services, as well as our staff team during the week. We invite you to join us in loving our neighbours.

Offer support to the WORLD: Beirut
