Christmas is Giving

Published on November 11, 2020

Every Christmas season NewHopers share God’s love with people in our community who could especially use some hope.

We provide Coles and Woolworths Food Gift Cards to people in need.

We seek to throw our arms wide open and bless people that are connected to NewHope through any of our ministries and programs. This includes our Preschool, our Persian and Brazilian Communities, COACH families, Dinner Tonite, Jubilee Housing, Soccer Club, as well as families and individuals.

As a multicultural community we give food vouchers to enable people to choose and enjoy their special foods at Christmas through your gift.

To gift food to someone doing it tough this Christmas, purchase one of the specific Coles or Woolworths gift cards to the value of your choosing ($10, $20, $25 & $50 increments are ideal) shown below.

The “Coles Gift Card.”

This gift card needs to be purchased from Coles itself. It is the only gift card that you cannot buy alcohol or cigarettes with. All Coles stores carry this card. If you cannot find it, ask at the customer service desk.

The “Grocery Gift Card” from Woolworths.

Non-perishable food donations will continue to be received and can be placed in the collection bins at our NewHope centre, as we stock the food pantry to address need through the Summer months.

Please drop them into NewHope Reception by Friday 4 December.
