Blackburn NewHope Football Club News

Published on February 3, 2021

It has been a busy start to the year for BNFC with lots of behind the scenes work happening to get the club ready for a COVID safe season of soccer in 2021. We want to update you on what’s happening so far this year at BNFC.

• Registrations are now open, and we invite anyone who is interested to register for a team. Everyone gets a place and new players and their families are always welcome. From KickOff 4 1/2 – 7yr olds) to Juniors (Under 8’s – Under 18’s) and Seniors (Women’s and Men’s teams) – there is a team for all. Please pray for a smooth process and for people to feel welcome in the club. Check out our website for details: http://bnfc.com.au/28-2/registrations/

• Pre-season training has started for our Senior players, you can check out https://www.facebook.com/BlackburnNewhopeFC for details on venues and times.

• We are looking to appoint some Club chaplains for the different age groups in the club, so if you have a heart for community, sport and people and want to see people’s lives transformed then this might be the place for you.

• We are looking for Sponsors to cover fees for those who may be struggling this year. If you would like to bless a family or individual get in touch and we can assist you with that process.

• Lastly we would love your prayer coverage of this huge ministry, with admin, finances, governance, chaplaincy and most importantly people involved and working we ask you all to pray that needs would be met, God would go about transforming lives and that the right people for volunteer roles would know their calling into this space. For regular prayer point updates get in touch and we will add you to our prayer list.

We are looking forward to a really exciting 2021 season and can’t wait to see how God uses soccer to build community and transform lives.
