A Leadership Change in our Chinese Congregation

A Leadership Change in our Chinese Congregation.

Jessen Yeoh will conclude his ministry at NewHope in November to take up ministry with the BUV as a consultant to our multi-cultural churches. He joins David Devine’s team and will serve from his unique strengths as a business consultant of many years. We will miss Jessen. He has done excellent work building up the Chinese congregation and shepherding through the very difficult months of COVID-19. We say thank you, and every blessing in what lies ahead.

Edmund Hu will become our Interim Chinese Pastor at NewHope on 1 Nov 2021. We are delighted that Edmund, who has been a part of NewHope for over 15 years, will take up the reins at this time. He will continue his full time work as the CFO of a mid-sized company as he comes alongside a capable community of leaders in NewHope’s Chinese Ministry.

Please be much in prayer for these dear friends and for the significant challenges and changes that we are facing together.
