A Celebration of the Life of Reverend Peter Jenkin 1935 – 2022

On Sunday 11 September, 2022 Reverend Peter Jenkin passed away aged 87 after a full life of faithful service to God.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Syndal Baptist Church West Auditorium, 588 High St Rd, Glen Waverley on Monday 19 September commencing at 3.00pm. The service will be live-streamed via this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzKuDJvXgxM

Peter was a man of great faith and a true servant. He was ordained in 1961 and served as Pastor at NewHope as well as many other Baptist Churches over the years including South Kingsville, Warracknabeal, Bulleen, Wangaratta, Beaumaris, Boronia, North Balwyn and Clarinda. 

We thank God for Peter’s faithful service and example to us all, and we pray for Elizabeth, their 3 daughters and their extended family at this time.
