Membership at NewHope. We are stronger together.
Membership is about committing to the body of believers at NewHope and partnering together for our present health, future capacity and ongoing missional effectiveness.
Instead of centralising major decisions among a small group of leaders, our Baptist approach believes this highest level of authority should be held by all of us as we discern God’s direction and exercise faith together. Membership is therefore both a privilege and a responsibility.
As you prayerfully consider membership, we invite you to explore the resources below and then meet with a NewHope Pastor to discuss any questions you may have before filling out the application form.
In accordance with our Constitution, membership applications are presented to our Church Council for approval. The names of applicants are also made available to members of our church family via our app to support shared leadership and healthy governance.
