Join A Group

Why join a group?

Humans are made for community. We need it to flourish. NewHope is passionate about creating hundreds of Communities of Hope where people can be known and know others as we seek to become more like Jesus. These groups form the basis of community and connection which we all need. You don’t have to be alone, you are loved and accepted. On this page you will find a link to connect with a group at NewHope and resources for those who are able to Host a group

What are groups at NewHope?

When do Groups meet and How?

Groups at NewHope tend to meet on a weekly or fortnightly basis depending on the Group. We have Groups meeting on almost every night of the week!

What should I expect to happen in a Group?
Groups will have different patterns but all will be intentional about making you feel welcome and allowing you to get to know others in the Group. Time will be spent discussing faith in Jesus through reading the bible, utilising discussion resources and sharing thoughts or questions from each other in the Group. We will always spend time offering to pray for each other.

I want to be connected

NewHope has many groups connecting across the eastern suburbs of Melbourne in every demographic from youth to older adults. Click below and send us some details so that we can do our best to connect you with leaders who can welcome you into a NewHope Group.

New Group Opportunity

Are you or someone you know working in healthcare? This new group opportunity may be for you!

Christian Medical & Dental Fellowship of Australia (CMDFA) Home Group
We are seeking medical and dental healthcare professionals and students, and their partners, to form a new home small group. Among us, there is a shared understanding of the journey and rigours of the profession, its peculiar ethical issues and the need to integrate Christian faith and medical/dental practice. For more general information about CMDFA, please see www.cmdfa.org.au. If you are interested in joining us fortnightly for Bible study and fellowship, please email Mathis and Rosemary at mathisrosemary.nhbc@gmail.com.

Let’s get social.
