Luckie Street Community Meal: Volunteer Information Session
Luckie Street Community Meal: Volunteer Information Session

You’re invited to a Volunteer Information Session on Sunday 5 February

NewHope Community Care, working with Whitehorse Churches Care, has an exciting new volunteering opportunity for you to explore in 2023. We’ll be trialling a community meals network at venues close to social housing areas in Whitehorse. As we aim to collaborate with these communities, our long-term goal is to go beyond merely providing food and to invest relationally with a vision to see people being discipled towards faith and empowered to contribute positively to build their communities.

NewHope Community Care will begin with a community meal near Luckie St in Nunawading, and we would love to invite you to an initial volunteer information session. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the vision and intent behind the project, to ask questions and have input. We will also book in a training session for later in the month to properly equip the team before we commence!

Please register if you can attend and join us on Sunday 5 February, 4pm at NewHope in Events Room 5. If you cannot make it but are still interested in being a part of the team, let us know by emailing nhcc@newhope.net.au
